Individual ticket sales begin at 6am on Feb. 22nd.
Unfortunately, not this year. As we grow and build towards Year Two, we hope to be able to expand in a way that includes virtual offerings. Fingers crossed!
All seating is GENERAL ADMISSION. Audiences will be seated in the following order: VIP Festival Pass holders, Festival Pass holders, Day Pass holders (when applicable), Ticketed patrons, and then we will disburse remaining seats to the waiting list.
Yes. If you wish to attend Make Believe Seattle, but finances are a stumbling block, please email us at billyray@makebelieveseattle.com. We have numerous volunteer options, and also have a limited number of access passes and tickets.
It depends on the venue. Some of our venues are still enforcing masking, but others are not. If the venue requires, we ask that you cooperate. If the venue does not require, we ask that you do whatever is in your personal best interests.
Yes. If it's not a screening or the opening night party, it's free - that includes our live podcasts and "Horror Interruptus". However, pass holders will be granted first admission. Remaining seats will be sold to anyone waiting.
It depends. If you buy a ticket for a film and don't enjoy it? No. It's a film festival, you take your chances. If you buy a pass and something happens and you can't make it anymore - yes, we will probably refund your money.
We will post a comprehensive trigger warning list on the website in March, but this information will only be available there, and not at the venues.
May 1, 2023. We have included "Indigenous Showcase" and "Black Lens" categories that are FREE TO SUBMIT for those belonging to said communities.
No. But we do have a fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas, that allows us to operate in many ways in which a non-profit might. We hope to have our own non-profit certification by Year Two.
